COONAMESSETT FARM INTERNSHIPS

Our internships for the summer are filled

An internship is offered for both the summer, fall and spring semesters each year.
We are accepting applications for the Spring and Summer of 2013.

Interns working at our farm will gain experience at doing a number of jobs on the farm, including planting, harvesting, greenhouse plant care and maintenance, animal care, farm stand work.

The interns work will include some aspects of management in all of these areas (depending on the intern).  We usually have several special projects/events every year and will encourage the intern to lead in at least one of these projects/special events.

We require the intern to work 28 hours/week in exchange for board and lodging (we offer housing in a nearby ecological housing cooperative or in a farm hand house off-property).   Additional hours (above 28) will be paid at minimum wage.

We are not an organic farm, but rarely use non-organic approved products on our plants.  Our web site provides additional information about the farm.  We are looking for energetic, hardworking interns who like people and want to work in a fun, but busy, environment.

Please fill out the application and send it to the farm for the 2013 program, or call us to talk about our internship program (508-563-2560).
