Hi everyone,

Crop Conditions:  Blueberries are just about gone; blackberries are starting up; cherry and main crop tomatoes are readily available; flowers are in abundance for cutting; try the Cape Gooseberries (husk cherries); many varieties of peppers, eggplants, beets, radishes to choose from; lettuce, greens, arugula, herbs, cabbage, onions summer squashes, cucumbers, green beans- wow, you can practically survive on the food available here. What can possibly keep you from picking?

Lost Pet: Anyone finding a 12-foot boa constrictor named Henry, lost on the farm last week, please notify farm staff. A small reward is offered for his return. Henry was reportedly last seen under some plants in one of the fields but the reporter, last seen running out the farm gate, did not identify the location.

Buffets:  The Jamaican Grill is going great. A number of foodies have attended and given it very high ratings for quality and ambiance. Most people have not discovered that we have BBQ pulled pork at the Friday night Vegetarian Buffet in addition to our complete vegetarian menu. I call this “The Undiscovered Buffet” It lacks the exotic cache of the Jamaican theme but the down-home food is amazingly good. Remember, rainy days are the best for attending, just like Disney; no lines and its cool.
