picking at the farm is about over but we have a huge crop of sugar snap peas ready for harvest. Other crops ready include
radishes, scallions, broccoli, and of course lettuce and greens. We still have a good supply of free-range beef, pork, and
chicken in the store freezer. Oysters are fattening up and available to take home or to enjoy at the raw bar at our first
of the season J-Night Wednesday from 5-8. The Ice cream stand will be open daily starting Wednesday and the full Café
menu starts today; Monday. Our first Farm Friday Night Farm Dinner is July 4th. Our hanging baskets are the best deal in town and there are still a few left. Basically, summer is here so enjoy
it while it lasts.
There is a threat of thunderstorms for Jamaican Night but it is still the best time to attend before the
summer crowds arrive. If it rains we offer fashionable rain gear for free; you just have to cut your own holes in the bag
for your head and arms. An inverted plastic flower pot tops off the ensemble. Plan ahead by going to: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Trash-Bag-Poncho
The more creative
can actually make a one piece with a hoody (BYO duct tape):
will be getting a three dollar discount on the adult ticket price but you must show your membership card. We will not be selling
memberships between 5 and 7 pm that evening but will allow the discount to be applied to post-7 pm that day. The world is
getting more complex daily; we are only doing our small part. See you Wednesday for a great time!
